TGLtd. is a NYC-based landscape design, build, and garden care company established in 2014.
WE are passionate about bringing together the past and future through designs that draw on landscape design history and employ contemporary ecological landscaping knowledge.
OUR CLIENTS and partners are passionate about atmosphere, functional space, having good times together with the people in their lives, connecting to nature & beauty, and the health of our wonderful home planet.
WE create cheerful, serene, inviting outdoor spaces with a team of talented garden designers, builders, and gardeners.
TGLtd is a member of the Society for Ecological Restoration, the Ecological Landscaping Alliance, and Green Roofs for Healthy Cities [GRHC].
Kate Turney
KATE has been working in horticulture since 1998. For the past 16 years she has been designing gardens in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Kate studied landscape design at NY Botanical Garden, as well as with John Brookes and with GRHC, and is a certified green roof professional. She has a broad industry background, having transitioned to the field by first working with a 140 year old wholesale nursery in the Maryland countryside, then working as designer-project manager at regional studios. Before transitioning to landscape design, she studied fine arts, journalism, as well as international relations in Paris and Cairo for six years.
